Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
This page sets out the deal for using oztoml.org. It's meant to be clear rather than clever. Using the site means you accept it; if that doesn't suit you, simply don't use the site.
What you're getting
A free converter for fluid ounces, millilitres and a handful of related units. Use it for your own projects or for paid work, at no charge, and without checking with us first.
How far to trust the numbers
We take the conversion factors seriously and lean on NIST, the US standards agency, for the fluid-ounce values. That said, no tool can promise a figure fits your exact case. Whenever a slip would carry a real cost, a dose, a lab result, a part that has to fit, verify against a trusted source before you act. Think of this as a quick assistant rather than the last word.
Playing fair
Normal use will never run into a wall. What we'd ask you to skip: bombarding the site with bots, copying it wholesale, deliberately overloading it, or bending it to anything unlawful. In short, leave it working for the next visitor.
Who owns what
The layout, the code and the writing belong to us. The underlying facts, that a fluid ounce is 29.5735 mL and the like, belong to no one and you're free to quote them. The line we'd rather you not cross is lifting the whole site and presenting it as yours.
Where our links lead
We point out to sources such as NIST and Wikipedia, and to our sister converter. The moment you follow one, you're on another operator's site under their rules and privacy terms, not ours.
Uptime and changes
The site is offered as it stands and as it happens to be available. We might adjust features, pause parts for maintenance, or retire the service, possibly without warning, and we can't guarantee it stays reachable or entirely bug-free.
Warranty and responsibility
As far as the law permits, oztoml.org carries no warranties, and we aren't on the hook for losses tied to using it or to it being unavailable. If a clause can't hold up where you are, the remaining terms still apply.
Revisions
These terms may change over time, and the live version always sits on this page with its date on top.
